The Designer

 

As a daughter of a single parent my hard working mother entrusted this wonderful woman to take care of me after school until my mother arrived home from work.  While in her  care this wonderful woman taught me the awesome art of crochet.  She taught me how to make beautiful doll clothing and blankets just to name a few.  But once I became a teen that all ended, lol....

Later in my adult life when I became pregnant with my son I decided to pick up the crochet hook and began crocheting for him.  I made him blankets and stuffed animals that he loves till this day.  Every once in a while when he's sick he'll grab his stuffed animals and put them in the bed with him, but shhh don't tell him I told you....

When my friends and co-workers began having children instead of purchasing gifts I would crochet gifts to give to them, I felt it was more personal.  Whoever was receiving the gift they were so pleased that they began showing off my items to other people and people began ordering items from me and this is how Hopes Loving Hands came about.
